I was using it last week on Windows10 but it caused too many other problems to tolerate so I put everything on external drives and went back to 8.1, tried using the one I saved to exernal when this error message happened. I don't have a clean copy of the registry before the problem started, I have used Rebuilder for 7-8 years with very little problems. Registry cleaners in general are somewhat controversial but C_Cleaner might be the safest among them. Just check or uncheck the appropriate box. * C_Cleaner has the option to select or deselect "erase saved passwords" etc. Meanwhile I believe that "BD_Rebuilder" is Windows only unless run inside of WINE on the other 2 which may or may not work properly. "MakeMKV" and "HandBrake" are available for Windows,Mac,and Linux. Also, the registry problem would still be there unless it is fixed. * Maybe a combination of the software programs "MakeMKV" and "HandBrake" could replace "BD_Rebuilder" ? I am not sure on that though as I personally don't shrink Blu-ray Discs. That would put you back to where you were when you first bought the computer. Component 'mscomctl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid : 'mscomctl.

COMPONENT MSCOMCTL OCX OR ONE OF ITS DEPENDENCIES NOT CORRECTLY REGISTERED A FILE IS WINDOWS 10
* An alternative could be to completely re-install the older version of Windows (if you have the recovery disc and AFTER backing-up all of your files). 'Component vsflex8l.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid' Is there anything else that needs to be installed I am on a clean windows 10 machine (nothing other than office 365 installed). Otherwise, you need to copy one from another computer with the same operating. Step 2: If you can find the target file in this location, you can go to the next step to register it. You can press Win + E to open File Explorer, and then navigate to the location C:\Windows\SysWOW64. * Do you have a registry back-up from when it was functioning properly ? Step 1: Check if you have the MSCOMCTL.OCX file on Windows 10 PC.
